.75" w/union bug at 6 o'clock. Only minor wear. NM. John Purroy Mitchel "The Boy Mayor Of New York" who was only 34 when elected, is the second youngest in city history. Mitchel was elected in 1913 as a Republican. Hughes, the 1916 Republican nominee for President and former NY Governor, was serving as Associate Chief Justice at the time of Mitchel's election.
