Item Description
Buttons are .75" to 1". Ribbon is 5" long w/union bug at bottom. Five litho buttons, two cello buttons and metal pin. Lithos have light surface scratches amounting to light to moderate wear. VF to extremely Fine. Cellos are Exc. Metal Statue of Liberty pin is Exc. Ribbon produced by Kraus & Sons and has some light wear along bottom edge. Still Exc. Includes two jugates featuring Browder and Ford, who ran in 1936 and 1940. Also includes three Youth Communist League or YCL buttons. Peter Cacchione was a New York City Councilman from 1942 to 1947. He was a local Communist Party chairman in King's County, NY during the 1930s before his election to the city council.
