Item Description
12x19x2" deep box contains three-piece set consisting of 18" long sword and 14" long scabbard w/12" dia. tin litho shield w/great Prince Valiant image/name lithography. Mattel c. 1950s. Scabbard is also tin litho w/Prince Valiant name. NM. Sword is plastic w/soft rubber tip and faux jeweled handle. Gold hilt/handle of sword has scattered paint and luster loss, Fine. Shield has paint flakes to rim and some minute paint nicks to lithography, Exc. Box has nice image of Valiant being knighted by King. Other images include shot of set and boy using it. Obvious handling wear, tears, creases and color rubs. VG.
