Item Description
10" long overall. Hanger at top reads "National Convention/St. Louis/July 22, '96". Features Lady Justice in center. Designation at bottom reads "Sergeant at Arms". A few horizontal areas of thinness on ribbon, most notably along Lady Justice's feet. Some silver application loss on text and images. Otherwise moderate handling wear. Fine. The People's Party (Populist) Convention was held just weeks after the Democratic National Convention, and the Populists chose to also nominate Bryan alongside the Democrats. However, they rejected the Democratic VP nominee Arthur Sewall, and nominated Thomas Watson instead. Larry Brokofsky Collection.
