Item Description
15x15". From an event held in Puyallup, Washington in September of 1940. Features a cartoon donkey yelling into a radio microphone "I'm For Roosevelt". In the years following, the Puyallup Fairgrounds were taken over by the federal government for the war effort during WWII, and in 1942 the site was used as an internment camp for over 7,000 Japanese-Americans. The Puyallup Fair reopened after the war in 1946. Slight even aging w/a few tiny scattered stains along the top in white field. VF.
