Item Description
Cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains five books issued by Cupples & Leon in 1934. Box lid has creases and shows lt. wear at corners, one of which has split. Fine/VF overall. Set of five softcover books are each 6.75x8.5" w/32 bw pages of comic strip reprints. Titles include - "Little Orphan Anne, Reg'lar Fellers, Smitty, Harold Teen" and "Dick Tracy And Dick Tracy Jr. And How They Captured 'Stooge' Viller." These softcovers are abbreviated versions of the hardcover editions issued by Cupples & Leon. Books have some staple staining and some minor cover aging, but all covers remain bright and clean w/clean white pages. Covers are VF/NM w/NM pages. Desirable Cupples & Leon set w/nice, high grade books, as nice as any we've seen.
