Item Description
1.25x7x10.5" hardcover bound volume contains original issues Vol. 3 #2 (8) (January 1944) through #15 (October 1945). Nedor Publishing, Ned Pines. Covers by Alex Schomburg. Art by various contributors. Appearances of the Black Terror, Doc Strange, American Eagle, Fighting Yank and more. Issues have been trimmed and bound but covers/pages remain bright and clean. Eight complete issues. Spine has gold lettering "America's Best Comics, Jan.- Oct. 1944". Pages have aging and are cream. Inner covers exhibit lt. edge tanning. Lt. handling wear. Issues have minor defects including spine pinch creases, lt. corner creases, small edge tears and small chips on a few outside edges and lower corners. Issues VG to Fine as bound. Lt. aging/wear to cover to bound volume. Fine.
