Item Description
The 1972 General Mills Monster Action Ring premium flicker ring set of six were offered individually as box inserts in boxes of Franken Berry or Count Chocula cereals. Offered here is prototype Count Chocula ring w/hand-colored stat. NM and originates from the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold. Initially conceived as a non-flicker set, the design was changed to feature flicker action for the production run. Rest of lot consists of four rings (which were issued in three different colors for each of the six ring designs); including all three Count Chocula designs on blue bases as well as Franken Berry dancing on orange base.
