Item Description
4.5x6" wax paper. For this classic gum card set, there were four different wrapper designs produced in a total of six different colors for cards #1-240. This and the following five lots represent all six colors (white, blue, yellow, orange, green, rose). This lot also features one of each of the four wrapper designs, each featuring different war scenes. These are designated in the Benjamin Non-Sports Guide as: one figure center, three figure center all w/two-pointed hats, three figure center all w/rounded helmets, four figure center. All have scattered creases as originally folded. One figure wrapper has .5" tear at that figure. Each has additional wear/aging w/some pin holes. Still VG to Fine. John Grossman Collection.
