Item Description
4.5x6" wax paper. In the previous five lots we offered the standard card wrapper (in different varieties). What we have here is the rarest of all HOW wrappers, done for the extended "Second Series" of cards 241-288. It was only done in one version, red w/white outline images (that are totally different from the images on the four standard wrappers), text is in black and yellow. Text on bottom margin notes how each pack contained a second series card as well as one from the first series as "An Extra Gift." Scattered lt. creases as originally folded but much less than typically seen.
An exceptionally clean example. VF. A must have for the HOW completist. The only example we have offered in our 57 years. John Grossman Collection.
