Item Description
9/16". Features real photo profile portrait of Mayor Anton Cermak. The Chicago mayor was riding in a car with president elect Roosevelt on Feb. 15th, 1933 when an assassin attempted to kill Roosevelt by firing 5 shots. All of them missed Roosevelt but one hit Cermak in the stomach. He allegedly said to Roosevelt on his way to the hospital "I Am Glad It Was Me Instead Of You." He died March 6th of his wounds. Only minor wear. NM.
