Item Description
Pair is c. 1965 by Lone Star in England. 1.5x4.5x6.5" box. Issued for the film "Thunderball". Full color box is second issue box with photo of Sean Connery-looking actor with pistol and hand artwork added from early image on front. First issue box had Sean Connery likeness artwork that was later changed to this version, likely due to licensing conflict. Box has some lt. aging/creasing. One inner flap missing. Metal and plastic Walther P38 (instead of PPK) style pistol with plastic silencer that slips on barrel end. Raised lettering "James Bond" on side of gun. Gun is unused with clean cap compartment. Exc. Next is 4.75x6.5" card w/Midgie Baretta 100 shot repeater. Card has matching face picture to boxed gun. Some marks on picture likely from scraping off a price sticker. Card has lt. edge wear/warp. Fine. Gun has some chipping at muzzle and at grip from storage. Unused. VF. Rare issue of this smaller pistol and first we've seen. Mark Warner (UK) Collection.
