Item Description
11x14" tan cardboard mat has 7x8.5" opening around the art which is done on animation paper. Done in lead and brown pencil w/penciled title at top "A Sock On The Nose." Depicts Lampwick throwing a punch while Pinocchio stands in front of him pointing. The image of Pinocchio was done on a separate 3.5x4.5" sheet and neatly, almost seamlessly, mounted to the sheet of animation paper so all blends nicely. c. 1939. Sheet is held to mat by strip of tape to each reverse corner. Sheet shows some lt. dust soiling and has scattered pin holes although mostly at corner areas, not visible due to the mat, only four pin holes show on the actual art area. Fine.
