Item Description
Pair of 8.5x11" fanzines, each w/four pages. Not to be confused w/the 1970s UK publication of the same name, these are were published in Sept. and June 1965 by Marty Arbunch and Bill Dubay, and touted as "The Newspaper For Marvel Fans." Each issue features news articles and features w/photos and art both professional and amateur. Some contents of note includes features on Captain America, Wally Wood, Timely Comics cover gallery and readers takes on the then "New" Avengers lineup that included Hawkeye, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch. All pages shown online. Folded as mailed w/scattered aging and handling wear w/.75x1.25" corner piece missing from last page of issue #9. Fine to VF overall. Scarce, as print runs were often less than 200 copies and were rarely, if ever, reprinted.
