Item Description
2-3/8x2-7/8".  The issue consisted of 239 cards, with a 240th entry - the remarkably scarce Napoleon Lajoie #106 - produced in 1934 in response to consumer outcry and mailed to fans only upon request.

Mel Ott, nicknamed "Master Melvin," was a MLB right fielder who played his entire career (1926-1947) and went on to manage (1942-1948) the New York Giants. He was a 12-time All-Star and a 1933 World Series champ. Mel Ott was elected to the National Baseball Hall Of Fame in 1951.
