Item Description
Lot consists of American and Canadian issues for this iconic 1965 Aurora model kit. Box text on both reads "Kit Comes Complete With Scale Model Replicas Of Both Fighters, Referee, And Boxing Ring" w/additional French text on Canadian issue box. Both boxes feature same art by Mort Künstler. Kit No. 861-198 (American) box remains tightly sealed w/no tears/splits to cellophane. NM. Factory-sealed w/unused contents. High grade example and as nice as these come. Kit No. 861-251 (Canadian) box has split to cellophane along seam at lower right; w/tape repair. Box remains factory-sealed w/tiny tear and split to cellophane at one corner. Box lid has warping due to tightness of shrinkwrap w/crease across "Sport" name on main lid panel. VF overall. Factory-sealed w/unused contents. This Canadian version is much less common than its American counterpart. Janusey Brothers Collection.
