Item Description
Lot of six pieces, issued in the 1945 kit. 6x9" mailing envelope w/"The Junior Justice Society Of America!" return address w/typed recipient name/address label. Envelope shows scattered handling wear/aging. Fine. 5.5x8.25" member letter (w/Wonder Woman's "Diana Prince" facsimile signature) mentions patch (not included) as well as All-Star Comics and other items in the kit. Letter has moderate handling wear w/small margin tears and all over creases. VG. 8.5x10-7/8" membership certificate (w/1945 copyright and "Diana Prince" facsimile signature but no serial number) features inset Wonder Woman portrait w/additional, smaller portraits of eight other DC heroes including Hawkman and Doctor Mid-Nite. Name (which does not match envelope) has been inked on provided lines by child w/heavily inked spot in address. Horizontal fold at center w/some lt. corner tip wear. Fine. 4" dia. decoder wheel has faint ghost of penciling on provided line but is o/w unused and evenly aged. VF/Exc. High grade example of the rarest version. Pair of M.C. Gaines war-related material includes "Youth And The War Effort" brochure and "The Minute Man Answers The Call" four-page comic (both are updated versions w/1945 date change on next to last panel of back of comic).
