Item Description
17x24.25" illustration board contains 10 panel strip published June 18, 1967. Pen and ink art by Pogo creator Walt Kelly. Strip features Basher the kangaroo and Barnstable Bear characters approaching Barnstable's wife Miz Bear to have her endorse cereal. Small termite character adds one-liner jokes. Of note, Barnstable holds pet bee on leash. Original blue pencil sketches remain while finalized art is in black ink. "Pogo" title paste-over. Signed by Walt Kelly in last panel. Blue pencil notations in upper margin. Exc.
