Item Description
Isaac Mendez (played by Santiago Cabrera) was a character on the 2006-2010 TV series Heroes, possessing dual powers of superhuman speed and enhanced probability, which allowed him to paint the future. Offered here is a large and impressive 36x48" wrapped canvas has large sheet of paper clipped to it with four metal butterfly clips at each corner. This sheet has had image of Matt Parkman (played by Greg Grunberg) in suicide bomber's vest as created by popular comic book artist Tim Sale (1956-2022), best-known for his work on both Batman and Superman as well as for the collaborative work he created with Jeph Loeb for the TV series Heroes. The original art was created in 11x17" scale, primarily in charcoal pencil in black, white and gray tones. This was then computer colored by Dave Stewart before the art was enlarged to this size and printed. Surface has had rubber cement "painted" over it to give the appearance of a real painting. This is one of five graphic "paintings" central to the plot of a Season 1 storyline and were seen in Isaac's loft. Paper shows general wear as clipped to canvas, with wear along margins and at corners. Spot of rubber cement by man's armpit is slightly discolored. Acquired from NBC-Universal through the NBCUniversal VIP Fan Auction and comes with COA. A wonderful opportunity to acquire an item used in production of one of the most popular TV shows of the early 2000s.
