Item Description
Approximately 9" tall by 10.5" long by 8" wide stunt-used Wasp helmet from 2015's Ant-Man And The Wasp. At the end of the first Ant-Man film, Hope van Dyne (played by Evangeline Lilly), daughter of the first Ant-Man (Hank Pym) and the first Wasp (Janet van Dyne), receives a prototype Wasp suit meant for her mother. She dons the suit in the 2018 sequel for equal billing along w/Paul Rudd's Ant-Man. The Wasp helmet is an iconic signature item that is easily identifiable to fans and collectors alike. Constructed of high quality plastic w/interior padding, helmet has adjustable interior forehead strap. Helmet exhibits production wear from use on set during filming, but remains very nice for display purposes. This is the first known example of this highly recognizable prop to ever be offered at auction. Item came from someone who worked on the production as well as that of other Marvel films. The bottom portion of the helmet's jaw area was removed during production as it severely limited the movement of the stunt performer and was then replaced in post, having been cleaned and enhanced to match with Evangeline Lilly's helmet that appears throughout the film.
