Item numbers 955 though 2537 in auction 191
Item Description
Mid-1930s toy 2.5" wide by 5" long by 6" tall which features a 4" wood Mickey. The base of the toy is wooden w/a piece of spring steel painted green and formed at a right angle to which is attached the red wooden board onto which the figure of Mickey is fastened. This is as the company created the toy and Mickey is complete w/99% of his chest decal which includes his name and Disney copyright plus on the front edge of the board is a readable and about 90% complete decal stating "A Fun-e-Flex Toy." Because of the spring steel w/slightest touch, Mickey and his board bounce up and down in a very animated manner. While Mickey is missing his tail, he is complete w/his diecut cardboard ears. Extremely Fine and the only example we've seen. Rare.
