Item Description
Not to be confused w/the regular issue, all in this lot are from the rare test set. ACC# R705-6a. Set is comprised of 15 cards and 40 stickers. The only difference between the two issues are the sizes- test cards are 2.5x3.5" and stickers are 2.5x2-5/8" whereas w/the standard issue, all are 3-3/8" square. This lot has seven cards and 13 stickers. Set features song parodies. Cards have illustrations on both sides along w/lyrics to songs such as: Jello Charlie (Hello Dolly) and Put Down (Downtown). Stickers are of records labels (also parodied) w/such songs/artists as: Hound Dog by Elvis Pretzel, California Screamin' by The Grandmas & Grandpapas. The Falling Stones, Last Plane To Clucksville by The Donkees, Bob Dilly (Dylan), The Bleach Boys and more. The CGC grades breakdown as follows - 6 EX-NM (1), 5.5 EX+ (2), 5 EX (3), 4.5 VG-EX+ (2), 4 VG-EX (5), 3.5 VG+ (4), 3 VG (2), and 1.5 Fair (1). Lot also includes a test wrapper. Plain white wax paper folded to 2.5x3.5 w/applied sticker featuring a Beatles inspired musician and record labels. Wear as folded, Fine. Roxanne Toser Collection.
