Item Description
Complete 13x24.5x11.5" tall store display bin w/cardboard header measuring 13x24". ©1977 General Mills Fun Group, Inc./Kenner Products/20th Century-Fox Film Corporation. Sign advertises "Twelve Exciting Action Figures From The Smash Hit Movie Star Wars!" and shows movie images of the first 12 characters that were made into action figures - Princess Leia Organa, See-Threepio (C-3PO), Artoo-Detoo (R2-D2), Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Ben (Obi-Wan) Kenobi, Darth Vader, Stormtrooper, Jawa, Death Squad Commander and Sand People (Tusken Raider). Text at center lists "Authentic Costumes, Movable Arms And Legs For Great Action Poses, Designed For Star Wars Spaceships And Action Toys" features. Store display bin has 13x24" vacuform plastic inner tray w/four slotted sections w/12 slots each designed to hold Kenner's original 12 Back carded figures. Raised "Star Wars" logo on the front of each section. Complete w/cardboard tray insert underneath plastic tray as well as w/cardboard inserts. Rare and desirable display. Header has faint vertical crease at left, running across Han Solo and C-3PO's faces as well as some lt. corner tip wear. Plastic tray insert has .5" dent along left side, but not readily visible when display is fully assembled. Some tiny corner dents, but tray remains free of any of the typically seen cracks. Cardboard insert tray below plastic tray has large crease at one corner, but display remains still VF/Exc. overall. Comes w/original Kenner cardboard shipping carton w/mailing label. Box has been opened at left and shows some scattered wear from mailing and exhibits some scattered moisture staining. Fine/VF overall. Old store stock and first we've offered w/original shipping carton. Due to size and/or weight of this item, shipping charges may be substantial.
