Item Description
In our March 2023 auction we had this image on a big 4" dia. cello with slots on reverse for a wire easel. This is the only example we know of in the 1.25" size. No maker with a fixed horizontal bar pin. There are tiny hand colored accents of pink and green. The aerial view is amazing but the images are small due to the scope and grandeur of the scene. Included are a throng of strollers on the boardwalk at lower right edge to the ring master and bare back horse rider at lower left and up to the small top center red heart. The rectangle across the heart reads "Luna Park" but it takes sharp, close focus (a magnifier is necessary) to read the lettering on the red heart above and below the "Luna Park" rectangle that says: "The Heart Of Coney Isl'd". Glossy and Exc. One known to us. An amazing early Coney Island souvenir.
