Item Description
Watch w/leather band is the 1934 model w/numeral 5 on the dial below Mickey's knee. This is the first year the watch was issued in a redesigned large blue rectangular box. Box insert specifies $2.95, which by 1937 increased to $3.25. Box lid has a few spots of blue color, mostly off the extreme outer edge. Overall lid displays clean and near VF. Box bottom is also tight. Inside the box is the cardboard insert which can be displayed vertically using the large blank flap on the reverse. There is a .25x.5" blue spot partially covering the dollar sign and the numeral 2. The insert is o/w totally clean. Watch itself is NM. This version has black leather straps w/pair of diecut metal Mickey's which have NM paint. The watch dial and case are totally bright and clean, watch is running well but has not been tested over 24 hours. Included in the box is the Ingersoll small four-page instruction and guarantee folder. Overall a beautiful example of the classic watch in a scarce box.
