Item Description
1" (24mm). Gilt brass. Loop at top for suspension. Right facing portrait and 25 stars above. "1845" below portrait, indicating the start of Clay's presidency following his potential 1844 election victory that did not come to fruition. Reverse reads "Clay & Frelinghuysen/ Protection & Union." Only light surface wear, most notably a minor trace of tarnish at 1 o'clock above portrait. Details remain sharp. Still Exc.
