c. 1936, made in Japan for the English market. Toy is 1.75" wide by 3.25" long by 4" tall. Donald's upper body is all celluloid, his lower body is designed as fabric pants w/celluloid feet glued to small celluloid covers over a metal rod which serves as the pedals. Rear of tricycle has 1" tall narrow metal rod holding a fabric British flag. There are tiny fabric splits where the fabric is glued onto the rod. Donald's lower chest has area where the blue is not as dark as the rest of his outfit. As the toy moves in a circle, Donald's legs and feet pedal while the flag on the back vibrates. VF and scarce.
