Item Description
7/8". No maker. By 1932, the United States was in the midst of the Great Depression and Herbert Hoover was highly unpopular for his response to the economic crisis. His administration's response to the Bonus Army protests further galvanized public opinion against him. This slogan button illustrates the sentiment felt by many Americans at the time of him leaving office. Only light wear. Exc. John Gearhart Collection.
