Item Description
1.25" w/W&H back paper. Text above reads "National Democratic Convention Chicago, Ill., July 7, 1896". It features a portrait of Cleveland titled "Democratic Doctrines" above three children or cherubs labeled "R E M", standing for "Reliable Money," "Equal Rights," and "Monroe Doctrine." Small section of missing cello on curl at 1:30 on extreme outer edge. Tiny scratch at 5 o'clock on extreme edge. Technically Fine, but displays above grade. A scarce Cleveland hopeful from what would have potentially been a fourth bid for the presidency.
