Item Description
Complete set of four nice quality hand puppets, each approx. 10.5" tall and unmarked, but in the same style, design and material as Three Little Pigs dolls by Ernesto Cahn we have offered in the past. Made in Spain, 1930s. The Ernesto Cahn company made a wonderful line of authorized Disney dolls in the 1930s, exclusively for the European market. All are rare as production was low. Puppets have high quality mohair bodies w/felt hats, clothing and hands. Each puppet's nose/snout and mouth/tongue are also felt and eyes are glass. Two have interior squeakers (which no longer work) and two are missing squeakers. Puppets are evenly aged and show little to no wear. Exc. Very rare and we have never come across a single example of these puppets in our 58 years, let along a complete set. An extreme rarity for Disneyana collectors.
