Item Description
27.5x40". Linen backed. Advertising poster for a theatre performance that featured satirized portrayals of the various "Bills" pictured, including McKinley, Bryan, "Buffalo Bill" Cody, as well as Shakespeare, Penn, and famed actor William Gillette.  Scattered creasing w/small area of loss in bottom right corner, and some surface loss that barely makes its way onto yellow field. Retains bold color. Overall Fine. Will frame to display above grade. An interesting intersection of art and politics in 1900. Rex & Patti Stark Collection.
