Item Description
9.5" tall. c. 1810. English stoneware. Bust of Washington after the 1805 Eccleston medal. Other side has eagle perched atop shield w/naval theme below. Ornate design and pleasing gradient of light to dark brown make this an interesting piece. These are notably scarcer than Liverpool creamware jugs of the era.
