14x22" offset litho on thin uncoated stock by Lincoln Lithograph Company. Issued from the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee, 8 1/2 Raymond St. Atlanta, GA featuring an image of a Mississippi Highway Patrol Officer w/text "Is He Protecting You?" The image by SNCC staff photographer Danny Lyon was part of a series of five posters featuring his photography that have become iconic images of the movement. Tiny spot of age at bottom left corner and a few scattered dots on verso not seen from front. Otherwise only trivial handling. Exc. An impressive and powerful civil rights poster that will frame beautifully.
