Item Description
7/8" dia. litho button issued in 1939 w/"Read Superman - Action Comics Magazine" promotional text in blue on reverse. First version, front design features classic image of Superman breaking chains below his name, which is printed in flat text. A second version was produced that has "Superman" name in three-dimensional block lettering. Some tiny scattered wear seen under close inspection but still bright and glossy w/strong color. At the time of cataloging, only three examples in total have been graded by PSA according to current PSA Population Report, w/only two examples in a PSA 7 grade (none higher). Historic Superman item.
