Item Description
5.5" wood bar has metal hanger for suspension plus wire and metal frame which suspends the bisques, each about 2x2x1.5" deep. Positioning of hangers and wires causes Cleveland to hang below Harrison signifying his greater weight as a candidate although figures can be switched in position. Both figures have damage. On Harrison about .25" is off one of two ends where the flag is tied into a knot. Cleveland has multiple repaired breaks with crack lines crossing his forehead and cheek as well as the flag stripes and his legs. Both knot ends are gone where flag is tied and most of his feet are gone. One of the neatest campaign novelties of the 19th century. Hake number Harrison 3149 with 2004 value of $1,525. This example displays decently and has modest opening bid.
