Item Description
Deep sepia real photos with extensive hand-colored accents. Eight photos with captions reading "Woodrow Wilson, Mrs. Wilson, The White House, Miss Margaret Wilson, The Congressional Library, Miss Jessie Wilson, The Capitol, Miss Eleanor Wilson." Lower edge credits Wilson family photos to "Marceau New York" and maker's logo for "Genuine Hand Painted Photograph Celluloid Enamel." Stamp on brass back by Cruver, Chicago. Missing easily replaced wire easel but also has back rim notch for use as a wall plaque. Celluloid has only the most trivial wear in reflected light but overall condition is truly N. Mint with high gloss. A stunning and rare Wilson celluloid. Unlisted in Hake.
