Item Description
18.75x23.5" framed display contains elaborate display by Ill-Eagle Enterprises, Ltd. (authorized framer for these RIAA awards) as noted by label on back. Display notes "Presented To Shania Twain To Commemorate The Sale Of More Than 7,000,000 Copies Of The Mercury Records Cassette And C.D. 'The Woman In Me'" w/RIAA R Hologram at left of engraved plate. Twain's second album was released Feb. 7, 1995, w/eight singles dominating the country music airwaves, resulting in the album being a quick seller, 7x Platinum status on May 23, 1996. By Dec. 2000, the record would hit 12x Platinum status. Display is dominated by large photo portrait of Twain, flanked at left and right by a cumulative seven CDs; front CD at left is actual copy of the record while CD insert displays at right.
