3.5x7x2.75" deep box. 1930s by Ensign w/box marked "Slides Made In England/Lantern In Czechoslovakia." The battery operated projector's box reads "Mickey Mouse Toy Lanterns And Full Colour Slides." The metal projector is roughly the same size as box, generic in design w/foil sticker on back reading "Mickey Mouse Toy Lantern" plus image of him. Box is very nicely illustrated w/a number of different characters on all side panels. Box is missing one inside flap, lid hinge has slits w/archival tape repairs on interior. Back panel has 1x1.5" dark stain. Box remains tight and still displays Fine. Back bottom left corner of the lantern has a .5" area w/some paint loss and minor surface oxidation. Foil sticker has trace of wear including .25" sliver flake from outer edge. Interior battery compartment has some surface rust, has not been tested as it requires a foreign battery. Fine. Comes w/four different boxed slide sets, each box 1.5x5x.25" deep and contains a pair of glass slides plus story folder for that particular set. These sets are "Mickey Mouse In Giant Land" plus Silly Symphony titles "Night Before Christmas, Santa's Workshop, The Big Bad Wolf, Little Red Riding Hood." Scattered box wear, end flaps missing from Mickey and Santa's Workshop boxes. Boxes are still Fine for display. Story folders have scattered wear and aging but the slides themselves are overall Exc. Nice set w/great graphics.
