Item Description
20x30" on medium stock. Original screenprint by artist John Angus who designed posters for cultural events around the UK from 1974 to 2006. Printed before the show promoting Be-Bop Deluxe and The Steve Gibbons Band at Lancaster University on Saturday January 22nd, 1977. Authentic poster w/obvious wear to edges and corners, most notably 1" tear at middle bottom edge. Surface scuffs w/minimal breaks in color from poster being rolled and some dust soiling at top. Fine overall, but displays above grade with bold colors still vibrant. Be-Bop Deluxe had released their fourth album, Modern Music, months prior which was inspired by the band's experiences of touring in the US. The Steve Gibbons Band was coming off a tour w/The Who in 1976 and would release their second album, Rollin' On, in 1977.
