Item Description
14.75x18.75" paper game board issued by candy bar maker "Sickesz," 1930s. Text is in Dutch w/game play instructions at center. Game path has numbered circles running between 1-63 and around the path as part of the game play are designated image areas. These include same repeated image of full figure Mickey, different candy bar products and three rather unusual images of Mickey in the mouth of a cat, Mickey in a mouse trap and Mickey drowning in a bucket of water. Rest of board design features a wide variety of images in yellow/white of mostly Mickey and Minnie engaged in various activities such as marching band, car accident, boxing match, sunbathing, riding a bicycles, taking a picture, shooting bow and arrow, etc. Has overall obvious wear and aging and as once folded, reverse fold lines covered by clear tape strips. Has overall scattered age spotting, top right corner is missing a .75x.25" piece. Several other small margin pieces are missing as is .5" spot from the final numbered circle "63." While wear is evident, color remains strong, great images and still a very nice piece for framing. Good. First we've seen.
