2.25". No maker. Portraits of 35 team member. Text at bottom reads "Denison Football Team 1924." Metal back aged w/some oxidation spots. Front has just lt. wear seen only upon magnification. Glossy, Exc. Rare and the only example we've offered in our 58 years. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
In 1924, the Denison University football team had a 4-1 record, with a 3-0 conference record. They played in the Oberlin Conference. Denison's season included a victory against Ohio State University. The Big Red nickname originated from the team's large size and all-red uniforms in the 1920s.
