Item Description
1.5" in white metal with hole as made at top. Thick flan has high relief bust on front and inscription "Antietam Sep. 17th. 1862," the bloodiest day in U.S. military history. From McClellan's and Lee's forces, by nightfall 26,000 men were dead, wounded or missing. On the reverse is a list of battles and from what we can tell, these all occurred in 1862: Great Mountain, Yorktown, Williamsburg, Fair Oaks, Gaines Mill, Malvern Hill, South Mountain. Couple very trivial bumps on the reverse rim edge. Exc.
