Item Description
DeWitt/Sullivan 1884-31 with 1-5/8" tall brass shell frame featuring spread-winged eagle at top clutching a shield while at the center of the shield is a tiny embossed rosette design with pair of tiny lines extending downward left and right as if these are the wire supporting the beaded picture frame encompassing the real photo cardboard jugate held by two tabs. Bright luster gone from the extreme lower left corner of the picture frame and the lower edge of the shield but this encompasses only about 7% of the entire piece which o/w has Mint luster. Photo is also Mint. First we've seen in a long time.
