Item Description
This badge is shown complete as Hake #124 with 2004 Revised Price value of $1,700. This example is missing the metal bar pin from top reading "Delegate." The piece is o/w complete except for tiny fringe on bottom edge. Fabric has .5" split right of "National" with tiny stress on left. Blue color faded but only noticeable underneath the large oval celluloid. Flag fabric has light tanning. Celluloid with tin back is totally clean but bottom edge words are a bit off-center to right although easily readable. Complete text including tiny text on husk of one ear reads "From Mr. Bryan's Fairview Farm." From top down text is "Our Standard Bearer: William Jennings Bryan The Nations' Commoner. Two Of America's Great Essentials To Peace And Prosperity Known The World Over." While the fabric has some age, most importantly the cello is totally clean. Cello surface is just a hair concave, if it ever was otherwise but this has no visual impact. A very handsome and rare badge of very limited convention distribution.
