Item Description
Next to a Cox/FDR jugate, the 1924 Davis/Bryan is the most difficult to obtain. This classic 13/16" by Bastian has their union bug lower front, their name on curl and their union label backstamp, which often created a front bump, but not on this example. Button is clean and glossy with perfect centering. Only a tiny amount of typical wear under magnification. Only barely noticeable defect is a pinpoint-size cello split by reverse collet which makes the tiniest bump imaginable on the top rim edge. This is a very small minus on a rare jugate with very many pluses. Even with this tiny flaw, the condition will surpass most surviving examples. N. Mint.
