Item Description
Extensive lot from 1931, these cut-outs were obtained by saving and sending in Dixie lids. Included is 10.5x15" original mailing envelope which shows "Series A" set up. Envelope has margin wear with few small tears, front has penciling. Fine appearance. "Series A" consists of two large die-cut cardboard pieces to form circus tent and entrance way. Includes illustrations of side show freaks, ice cream stand, circus performers in action. Series A includes four other stand-up figures. There are 3 additional 9x13" cardboard sheets each containing 5 different punch-outs. These are Series B-D. All feature highly detailed and colorful images and punch-outs include circus performers, animals, etc. Sheets have some loose perforations, couple of loose pieces but overall lot remains Exc./N. Mint.
