Item Description
This plump and happy anthropomorphic pig is c. 1940s of hollow hard rubber standing 11" tall. Extremely well detailed, his cap reads "Jordan's" plus a second Jordan's logo on front of bib overalls. He holds sales receipt pad in right hand. Original base is missing. So that figure would stand upright, long ago some glue was added beneath each shoe sole to attach figure to a sheet of .25" wood grain plywood. Outer edge of board is essentially circular but not a perfect circle shape. Behind pig's ear is 1/8" opening that once held a generic thin, short pencil, now missing but replacable. Overall figure is clean and VF. Best quality ad figure. Only second we know of. From the Hake Collection.
