Item Description
7.75" dia. by 8" tall. Largest size we know of and first we've seen of this design. c. 1930s. Same illustration as #2636. Scattered paint loss on nose and ball of seal, Popeye's black shirt, stage lights by Popeye's foot. Blue color loss to bottom inside and out. Text at Wimpy's feet includes "© 1919-29-33 King Features Syndicate Inc., Made In U.S.A./T. Cohn Inc." Dent at "T" in "Thimble," lt. crease above Wimpy's hat at edge. Illustrations and colors remain bright. Overall Fine.
