Item Description
3.5x6.5" envelope with 1962 postal cancellation. Sent from Festus, Mo. with "Gene Autry Trail And Camp" return address. Light handling wear, o/w envelope Exc. Comes with 4-page folder offering camping, hiking, Boy Scout advancement activities with bio of Autry. Folded as issued. .5x1.5" tanned area where cellophane-wrapped badge was stored. 2.75" badge reading "Character Counts/Gene Autry Trail" comes attached on original 2.25x4" cellophane-wrapped card. Badge has arrowhead image in center with map of Missouri and Autry's "Flying A" symbol on each side. Badge was earned by hiking entire length of trail (6 miles). Folder comes folded as issued. First we've seen. VF. Medal is Mint as made.
