Universal. 1954. Original cardboard box reads "Gene Autry Child's Kit No. 4087." Box has two 1.25" splits to end flaps and some corner/edge wear. Fine. Box is rare. Lunchbox band and back panel are cowhide print and front is "Melody Ranch" scene with Gene with lasso on Champion. Box has the tiniest traces of wear with three .75" hairline scratches to top of band and a thin 7/8" sliver of bare metal showing on extreme rim, these are mentioned only for complete accuracy. Comes with "Gene Autry" half-pint vacuum bottle with "Melody Ranch" scene showing Gene playing guitar with Champion. Thermos comes with original cardboard insert and paper band as well as Universal lunchbox pamphlet. N. Mint/Mint overall and as nice a vintage box as any we've seen.
